We design inviting spaces, experiences, and materials that educate and energize college-age voters.
Our creative interventions are based on insights from behavioral science about psychological obstacles and motivators for new voters. Through a range of communication techniques, we deliver key information at critical touchpoints with the clarity of visual design and unexpected vibrancy of creative play. We help students connect with each other, gain knowledge and confidence.
For the 2022 midterm elections, we are designing and facilitating two welcoming, vibrant civic exhibition spaces on U-M’s Central and North Campuses. Both contain a pop-up city clerk's office where students can register, request a ballot, and vote. Peer mentors and installations — including a 35’ immersive “ballot wayfinder”— will help students navigate the voting process and celebrate their civic participation.
